Our client require an experience Data Architect to design and define the data migration solution / process for a new secure IT system. Reporting to the Delivery lead the role is outside IR35 and will utilise SC Security clearance. Key deliverables. Execute in line with delivery plans, work collaboratively with other technical and business leads, data prep & transformation before go live, define BI solution and structure of data stores, ETL design, assist in migration of bulk date, XML/SQL. Assist design and maintain data migration solution and approach, work with QA team around test failures, Scripts, ETL Data Clensing and data quality reports, develop BI/MI reporting. Essential skills/experience: Data Architecture, Data Migration, Data Analysis (including profiling) and working with legacy and modern databases / datastores, (Oracle Siebel) to a new database, ETL package design and ingestion pipeline building, upgrade scripts, data profiling / data cleansing plans, data storage, data retention, and database management (structures, non-structured data: images, voice, etc.) creating large data stores and data lakes, PowerBI or Tableu, SQL Server and Oracle Database, Oracle Siebel, Dynamics 365 Databases, PL/SQL, JavaScript, #net, Business Intelligence reporting development and tool experience (specially, Power BI, OBIEE), Managing on-premise and cloud based (AWS) data solutions in secure environment, Performance monitoring and tuning of new database solutions, Willingness to challenge technical assumptions and decisions , Assist in preparation of upgrade and migration scripts XML / SQL, Dynamics 365 Architecture experience.
