Role: C++ Software Developer

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Location: Gloucestershire

A FTSE 100 multi-national Security and Defence organisation are actively seeking experienced C++ Developers to join their team.

Working closely with the intelligence community this role will place you at the cutting edge of the UKs ongoing security efforts; gaining exposure to a wide range of projects and technologies with the help and support of an experienced team.

Key Skills:

  • Strong wireless or network security application design/development in C++ and related languages.
  • An understanding of hardware systems and the ability to tackle low level development (e.g. real-time software, drivers, embedded software etc.)
  • A strong interest in expanding technical knowledge both in areas of core expertise and more generally.
  • Work towards gaining the experience required to take technical lead roles.

Technical proficiency to include:

  • Highly motivated with a strong academic background in Electronic or Software Engineering, Physics or Mathematics (typically with a 2:1 or 1st class degree)
  • Broad interest in wireless or network security technology, and awareness of latest industry developments
  • 1+ year experience of C++ development.
