Data Engineer

Location: Gloucestershire

Clearance: Please note you are required to hold, or be eligible to obtain DV Security Clearance

Sanderson Government and Defence are delighted to be presented with a Gloucestershire based well established client who are looking for a Data Engineer to join their team.


  • Experience with ETL process using managed tools e.g. SAS, Oracle
  • Scripting experience e.g. Python, Spark, SQL
  • Experience in Linux i.e. multiple OS environments is desirable
  • Streaming technologies (especially Spark Streaming)
  • NoSQL databases
  • Hadoop
  • Software engineering practices (coding practices to DS, unit testing, version control, code review)
  • Deep understanding of data manipulation/wrangling techniques
  • Experience of developing enterprise grade ETL/data pipelines with tools like Informatica and Talend
