Our parent company RSG are proud to announce that they will be sponsoring the ‘Young Ambassador of the Year’ award at the Prince’s Trust awards for the fifth time. The awards will take place on the 17th October at Bristol Grammar School. The Prince’s Trust supports the UK’s youth who have been affected by unemployment, school troubles, mental health, homelessness and much more.

The awards are an opportunity to come together and celebrate the achievements of six regional young people and one group who have changed their lives through education, skills development, employment, enterprise, and community. They have also participated in The Prince’s Trust’s programmes.

The ambassadors are those who personify The Prince’s Trust’s mission statement of ‘Youth Can Do It’ by volunteering and donating their time to the causes and programmes supported by the Trust. It is these young people who are being applauded at the Awards ceremony.

The Prince’s Trust has been RSG’s chosen charity since June 2017 and we’ve been active supporters of the Trust since our partnership by holding employability days, holding dodgeball tournaments, and running the Bristol 10k. Currently, we are also taking part in their fundraising event called Future Steps in which we’re aiming to walk the most amount of steps possible in a month.

“Once again myself and the rest of the RSG team have been deeply moved and motivated by the achievements of the Princes Trust Young Ambassadors. Commitment and dedication are key attributes for the Ambassadors and we applaud the successes that these commitments have brought to the Trust; keep up the great work!”
