On 21st November 2017 parent company, RSG, will be at ‘The Princes Trust and TK Maxx & HomeSense Awards’ hosted at St George’s Bristol. They are very pleased to announce that they will be sponsoring the “Young Ambassador of the Year” award.
The award recognises young people who are exceptional Young Ambassadors for The Trust, these young people volunteer their time to share their personal experiences and inspire others.
The Princes Trust “work hard to create brighter futures for young people aged 11 to 30, empowering them to get into jobs, education and training.” Their aim is to support 60,000 new young people across the UK, helping to give them the skills and confidence needed to get a job. With five centres across the South, the aim is to reach more than 10,000 new young people in this region alone. This is something everyone here at RSG feels really passionate about.
The Prince’s Trust became RSG charity sponsor in June this year and since then they have hosted internal fundraisers including a Halloween themed work day and employability days to help the Trusts young people take steps towards employment by working on their interview skills.
Managing Director, Adam Meadows who will be handing out the award on the night said: “Our business is built on getting people into work, so at a grass roots level we understand the complexity and challenges people face when trying to find the right job.“
