On the 24th March Steve Philips, Client Solutions Director at Sanderson, will be holding an employability skills lecture at UWE for 3rd year HR students. Following on from previous years of holding this lecture, the students will be prepped and advised on topics such as how to apply for jobs, writing a cv, preparing for interviews, and how to manage a job search. Our efforts with UWE are in conjunction with our skills transfer programme, part of our CSR initiative, in which we work within the community to help improve employability skills and prospects. In the past this has involved holding employability days at Filton College for students preparing for the workplace and exhibiting at the Bristol Deaf and Disability careers fair where our consultants shared their expertise and tips with job-seekers.
