Impressive growth at Resource Solutions Group Plc secures place as finalist in PwCs West of England Business of the Year Awards

Recruitment company Resource Solutions Group (RSG) has secured a place in the finals of the West of England Business of the Year Awards sponsored by PwC. Originally founded in Bristol in 1975, RSG has grown from a single recruitment company into a multi-million pound European network of expert consulting businesses.

Selected as a finalist in the over 30m category, the year ending 30th June 2016 was a record year for the Group with revenues reaching 267m, an increase of 28m on the previous year and of over 100m since 2013.

Still with original owner, Mike Beesley, at the helm, the Group has grown organically by focusing on developing long term relationships with its clients. Today, 80% of RSGs work comes from repeat business, recommendations or referrals.

Mike Beesley, CEO at RSG, said: We are incredibly proud to have made it to the shortlist of an award which holds so much such gravitas across industries. We have always aimed to do recruitment differently; our valued clients and loyal staff have been the result of this. Having our growth recognised is an incredible accolade to years of hard work from all of our team.

Nick Morgan, head of tax at PwC West & Wales said: The independent judges agreed that RSGs impressive growth makes it one of six strong contenders in the over 30m category in the Business of the Year Awards. The company has focused on developing long term relationships with its clients, nurturing the talents of its people, as well as developing innovative digital solutions.

The West of England Business of the Year Awards are sponsored by PwC and run in association with Circle2Success, Devon and Cornwall Business Council and Bristol, Bath, Swindon Business News
